Hi Everyone,
We are happy to announce that our Club has now reopened to a maximum of 50 members in the building at one time while strictly adhering to the the Eastern Ontario Health Unit’s guidelines. Sanitizers and masks are available upon entry and markings for social distancing are in place.
You will be asked to pre-register from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm the morning prior to the activities being offered. No phone messages will be accepted. Please note that due to the space requirements of social distancing, some activities have a limit on the number of participants.
Entrance will be only through the Fifth Street (south doors). Members must arrive no more than 15 minutes before the time of the activity and leave as soon as the activity ends. Everyone must wear a mask.
Please refer to the activities calendar for the programs we are currently offering. This is subject to change as we receive updated information from the Eastern Ontario Health Unit .
We will still be doing our Virtual Activities. ZOOM EXERCISES every Tuesday and Thursday, TRIVIA with Telephone Conferencing System, LIBRARY BOOKS/PUZZLES Curbside pick-up and Weekly Thursday LUNCHES.
Library – now open by appointment only starting Friday, September 11th from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.You must pre-register your 15 minute time slot. One person allowed at a time. All EOHU rules will be followed and we will give them to you when you call. You can still order books for curbside pick-up at that time for the pickup the following Tuesday. Note that we may need quarantine the books for 72 hours prior to pick up.
BBQ Fundraiser Saturday, September 26th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm In the southside (Fifth Street) parking lot . Pick-up only. Hamburgers and Hot dogs with a bag of chips and a bottle of water will be for sale for only $5 and all EOHU rules will be adhered to. All money raised will be going to our club. This is open to the public. Please spread the word and help support this event.
Volunteers will be greatly appreciated.
Line Dancing with Danielle to start on Tuesday September 8th for experienced dancers only at this time. This activity will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:30 to 12:00.
As we have no staff at the centre at this time, volunteers for a variety of duties would be greatly appreciated.
